📸 Union SG mark UCL debut with first goal of 25/26 league phase
Belgian side Union Saint-Gilloise have truly announced themselves on the Champions League stage with a goal inside the opening 10 minutes against PSV Eindhoven.
The league phase of the competition got underway in Tuesday evening with the competition debutants among the clubs in action in the early kick-offs.
It didn't take long for Sébastien Pocognoli's side to make an impact as they were awarded a penalty early doors, with PSV's Ricardo Pepi the player penalised.
Canada international Promise David stepped up and sent the goalkeeper the wrong way to put the Belgian side ahead at the Philips Stadium, scoring a historic goal for his club.
