Slot provides fitness update on three Liverpool players ahead of Man Utd clash
Arne Slot says Ryan Gravenberch and Ibrahima Konate will train ahead of the game against Manchester United .
But goalkeeper Alisson is set to miss out again with a hamstring injury.
Netherlands boss Ronald Koeman revealed Gravenberch had been struggling with a slight hamstring issue and only played 45 minutes in his country’s recent win over Finland.
Konate, meanwhile, withdrew from the France squad because of an injury problem.
But Slot says both will train ahead of the game and hopes to have them involved.
“Ryan is completely fit, although we still have to train twice,” Slot said ahead of the game against Manchester United . “But if you ask me now he is completely fit.
“We are in a good place with the Dutch national team. Ronald Koeman played Tijjani Reijnders and Ryan Gravenberch 45 minutes each.
“Ibou has come back to us and has started his sessions again. He’s expected to train with us today.
“And the third one is Alisson. He’s not training with us so he’s out.”
Slot also says Alisson will not play next week either and is unclear exactly when he will return.
“It’s so difficult to say because the end phase of a rehab can always give you positives or negatives but he will not play this weekend and also not next week,” he said.
