Estevao shines for Brazil again with double in win over South Korea
Estevao scored twice for Brazil as they beat a South Korea side captained by Heung-min Son 5-0 in Seoul.
The Chelsea man shone for Brazil alongside other Premier League stars, including Bruno Guimaraes, Matheus Cunha and Casemiro who all got assists.
A Rodrygo brace and a goal from Real Madrid teammate Vinicius Jr. wrapped up a comfortable win for Carlo Ancelotti’s side.
The winger has warmed to life at Chelsea very quickly with some stellar performances so far, most notably scoring a last minute winner against Premier League champions Liverpool at Stamford Bridge .
His first goal came after a through ball from Bruno left the Chelsea man one-on-one with the goalkeeper. He took on the shot first-time, catching out the South Korea goalkeeper.
The second came from him winning the ball off Kim-min Jae before firing home.
The 18-year-old only made his first start for his country earlier this year but is quickly becoming a key player for Ancelotti.
There were plenty of other familiar names on show with Arsenal’s Gabriel Magalhaes, Tottenham’s Richarlison, West Ham’s Lucas Paqueta and Nottingham Forest’s Igor Jesus all getting minutes in the match.
Brazil take on Japan next in another friendly in the Far East in which Estevao will be hoping to further his claim to start at the next World Cup in North America.
