Aston Villa striker Ollie Watkins has left the England camp and is out of their World Cup qualifier against Latvia tomorrow. The Villa star sustained a knock against Wales last Thursday and has yet to fully recover, prompting the Three Lions to let him return to the Villa Park club. Watkins scored to help England stroll to a 3-0 victory over Wales, with his teammate Morgan Rogers opening the scoring after grabbing his first senior international goal.

It is a huge blow for Villans manager Unai Emery as it remains to be seen whether the striker will be available for selection against Tottenham Hotspur. Villa return to Premier League action on Sunday with a trip to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to take on Spurs.
