Zirkzee exploring loan deal away from Old Trafford
Joshua Zirkzee could leave Manchester United midway through the season as the Dutch forward seeks game time ahead of the 2026 World Cup.
Since the arrival of a new-look attack at Old Trafford made up of Benjamin Šeško, Bryan Mbeumo , and Matheus Cunha, Zirkzee has moved down the pecking order at the club.
According to journalist Ben Jacobs of talkSPORT , the 24-year-old is keen on a loan move away with AS Roma touted as one destination for the former Bologna player. West Ham United and PSV have also been linked with the player.
While Zirkzee has not been a regular for Ruben Amorim, his departure would reduce United's depth especially ahead of the African Cup of Nations that will likely see Bryan Mbeumo and Amad Diallo depart for an indefinite amount of time.
Zirkzee has yet to start for United this season, coming on from the bench in five games across all competitions.
