Yamal appears to lose passport as he is forced to fly home solo after Spain win

LAMINE YAMAL might seem like he is wise beyond his years with a ball at his feet, but there are still signs that he's just like every other teenager away from the pitch.

Yamal, 18, unbelievably appeared to lose his passport while on international duty, meaning he had to fly home solo from the European champions' 6-0 away thrashing of Turkey .

The Barcelona winger - whose girlfriend has lifted the lid on their relationship - was seen scrambling to try to find his passport and rummaging through bags as he was getting on to a team bus after the game.

And, according to the Rest Is Football podcast host Alex Aljoe, Yamal was unable to find his documentation and had to travel back to Spain alone.

Fans online joked that Turkey star Arda Guler had stolen his passport to try and delay his return back to Spain in a boost to Real Madrid.

One posted: "Guler definitely involved."

While another teased: "Arda Guler thinks he's sleek."

A third joked: "On my life Arda Guler stole it".

And a fourth wrote: "Ask Arda Guler where it is."

Yamal had shown exactly why he is rated so highly during the international break, registering three assists across Spain's two games.
