West Ham kicked off their pre-season with a 3-1 win over Grasshopper.
Andy Irving opened the scoring for Graham Potter's side with a low finish after he was teed up from Jarrod Branthwaite's surging run to the edge of the penalty area.
The Hammers doubled their advantage just two minutes into the second half through Callum Marshall before Jonathan Asp halved the hosts' deficit.
Shortly before the end of normal time, West Ham were awarded a penalty which Lucas Paquetá turned home to round off a comprehensive victory.
