Viktor Gyokeres and Ethan Nwaneri echoed each other's verdict on Arsenal's win over Nottingham Forest this weekend.
The Gunners claimed a 3-0 victory over Forest in the Premier League clash at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday afternoon. Gyokeres scored his fourth goal of the season in the victory, with Martin Zubimendi also adding a brace in North London.
Mikel Arteta's side secured all three points in their first match after the September international break and also bounced back from their defeat to Liverpool in their previous fixture.
Arsenal leapfrogged their Premier League title rivals with the win over Forest, with Liverpool facing Burnley on Sunday afternoon in their weekend fixture.
The win over Forest was also the Gunners' first home match at the Emirates since beating Leeds United 5-0 on August 23, as they continue their impressive start to the new campaign.
Gyokeres and Nwaneri posted a message on Instagram after the victory over Forest. "Great to be back home," wrote Gyokeres, while Nwaneri added: "Good to be back home."
Nwaneri was initially named on the bench by Arteta for the clash against Forest. The 18-year-old was introduced in the first half to replace the injured Martin Odegaard, who suffered a suspected shoulder injury during the victory at the Emirates.
Arsenal will now be fully focused on facing Athletic Club in the Champions League on Tuesday night in their next match. After that, the attention will return to the Premier League when they host Manchester United in North London next weekend.
