But while Sudakov is living in Portugal, his family remain in Ukraine.
The remains at war with Russia following Vladimir Putin’s illegal invasion in 2022.
With Shakhtar unable to play at their home stadium in the Donbas region, players have since been residing in the Ukrainian capital of Kiev.
However, the city has come under fire from Russian bombs this week.
And Sudakov went on social media to reveal that his wife Yelyzaveta, their child Milana, 3, and his mother had been caught up in the horror.
The ace is away on international duty with Ukraine, who played France in Poland on Friday.
He posted several photos and videos on Instagram revealing the moment a drone struck the apartment they were staying in.
The terrifying scenes showed a shattered building with bricks and rubble lying everywhere.
Inside the apartment, water poured into hallways as electrical wires burst from ceilings.
While outside, a fire raged on the roof as cars down below were smothered in debris.

“Arrival of the shahed (drones).
“The wife, child and mother were home at the time.
“Non-people from a neighbouring country will write that military equipment is kept in my house.”
According to Ukraine’s air force, 805 drones and 13 missiles were fired by Russia on Saturday night.
Four were killed and 44 were injured, but Sudakov did not say whether his family were among those hurt.
