Trent Alexander-Arnold is one of several players who have shown love to Eberechi Eze after Arsenal signed the England international from Crystal Palace .
Eze spent five years at the south London club and has thanked them for believing in him and giving him to realise his dream of playing in the Premier League . The player's 286-word social media post has over 600,000 likes, and multiple fellow players have commented.
Alexander-Arnold sent Eze a red love heart emoji, as did former teammate Joachim Andersen and Romain Esse. Adam Wharton commented with a red heart emoji followed by a blue heart emoji.
Trevoh Chalobah , who spent part of last season with Palace on loan from Chelsea , also did so to represent the club's colours. Jefferson Lerma did likewise, but also said "Bendiciones broco," which translates from Spanish into English as "blessings brother".
Meanwhile, his former Queens Park Rangers teammate Toni Leistner commented, "Love it bro. You deserved it." The former Palace striker Clinton Morrison said, "Good luck bro keep doing you" while Yannick Bolasie also added: "What a guy".
Eze's post in part reads: "Five years, man. Crazy. It feels like just yesterday I was walking through the doors joining from QPR. The day you gave me the chance to realise my dream of playing in the Premier League, for South London’s biggest club.
"From the start, I had goals set and my targets in place for what I wanted to achieve here at Palace but I had no idea of what these last 5 years would really turn out to be.
Eze concluded the post: "All I really want to say is thank you. Thank you for believing in me, thank you for giving me a chance, and thank you for the love shared that will last a lifetime. Up the Palace. God Bless, Ebz."
