Tottenham are closing in on a deadline day swoop for Paris Saint-Germain forward Randal Kolo Muani.

The 26-year-old has been a long-term target for Spurs and they are now are finally about to get their man.

France international Kolo Muani has fallen down the pecking order at PSG and spent the second half of last season on loan at Juventus, scoring ten goals and providing three assists in 22 appearances across all competitions.

Kolo Muani hasn't featured in each of PSG's opening four competitive matches so far this season and there is a realisation that his long-term future doesn't remain at the Parc des Princes.

Juventus were confident on agreeing a deal to re-sign the former Eintracht Frankfurt striker, but now Tottenham appear to have moved to the front of the queue for Kolo Muani.

Kolo Muani agreement

Personal terms have been agreed and Kolo Muani is en route to London for a medical and to put the finishing touches on a move to Spurs, after a proposed switch to Juventus collapsed over the weekend.

Spurs and Manchester United explored a deal for Kolo Muani in January before he moved to Juventus.

He has been on Tottenham's radar for some time and now it appears that he is finally about to sign for the club.

Villa deal

Earlier on deadline day, L'Equipe reported that Aston Villa had reached 'total agreement' with Kolo Muani, as Unai Emery tries to strengthen his squad.

The Villans are looking for attacking reinforcements and wanted to sign the PSG man alongside Jadon Sancho, is nearing a loan move to the West Midlands.
