Spurs are in desperate need of a new No.10 right now after James Maddison sustained a long-term ACL injury and joined fellow attacking midfielder Dejan Kulusevski in the treatment room as a result. Tottenham had looked to address the position prior to Maddison's injury but a move for Morgan Gibbs-White frustratingly fell apart despite activating the release clause in his Nottingham Forest contract . If there is to be positive progress on a move for Eze then he could be in line to make his Tottenham debut next weekend if a deal is rubber-stamped. To make his debut away at Manchester City next Saturday lunchtime, Eze would have to be registered as a Tottenham player by midday on Friday. Premier League rules states that player must be registered by 12pm the last working day before a game in order to be eligible to feature. That would be some bow for Eze as it would give him the opportunity to make his debut in style against one of the Premier League's best sides.
