Arsenal will go into the Premier League clash against Liverpool this weekend full of confidence following their convincing 5-0 win over Leeds United in their last outing.
Goals from Jurrien Timber (2), Viktor Gyokeres (2) and Bukayo Saka gave the Gunners a comfortable win at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday evening. Eyes now, though, turn to a big game at Anfield.
In a clash which could be crucial come the end of the season, Arsenal take on current Premier League Champions Liverpool on Sunday afternoon (4.30pm). Arne Slot's men earned a dramatic three points on Monday night, with a winning goal in the 10th minute of added time against Newcastle from teenager Rio Ngumoha.
Ahead of the game, Mikel Arteta has been putting his squad through their paces at the Sobha Reality Training Centre. The club have released some pictures of the preparations - so here's just some of the things that we've spotted;
Seven absentees
Amid ongoing injury concerns ahead of the game against Liverpool, there were seven players not spotted in the pictures of training this week.
Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard both picked up injuries against Leeds last weekend. The former is expected to be out for around four weeks, however it is thought that Odegaard will return to fitness in time to face Liverpool .
Both were, though, not included in the images captured by the club.
Also absent was Ben White . The defender was replaced by Jurrien Timber in the Arsenal starting XI against Leeds, but he's yet to be ruled out of the clash against Liverpool.
Christian Norgaard also wasn't included with the midfielder missing the opening two games with a minor injury.
Longer-term absentees Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz were, unsurprisingly also absent.
Eze integration
One new face has been included in training this week in Eberechi Eze . The attacking midfielder completed a move to the Emirates Stadium on Saturday, and was introduced to the crowd ahead of the Premier League clash against Leeds.
He could make his debut against Liverpool this weekend. Ahead of the game, he has been involved in training with images showing him clearly enjoying it with a big smile on his face.
Also included is youngster Max Dowman. The 15-year-old made his first-team debut and he even won a penalty for the Gunners against Leeds, and will be looking to make a similar impact if he gets the chance against Liverpool.
Transfer hint
Discussions centre around a potential loan move with an obligation to buy at the end of the deal.
Despite the talks ongoing on his future, Kiwior has been pictured in training with Arsenal as the team prepare for the weekend's clash.
With an agreement yet to be reached with Porto, Kiwior will be preparing for the game as usual and could still be available for selection for Arteta.
Reiss Nelson was also pictured in training amid reports he's closing in on a switch to Crystal Palace.
