Saints' Jude Daniels Stuns Rooney's Son with Knockout Celebration in U16 Final

KAI ROONEY was brutally trolled by his opponent who cheekily copied one of dad Wazza's most famous goal celebrations.

And Prem legend Wayne, 39, was forced to watch on from the stands as Manchester United's youngsters lost 1-0 in the Super Cup NI final.

Jude Daniels scored a second-half winner as Southampton's U16's upset a Rooney family day out, with mum Coleen also in the crowd.

Kai and Jacey Carrick, sons of former Man Utd players Wayne and Michael, were the two big-name attractions in Northern Ireland on Saturday.

But it was teenage star Daniels who stole all of the glory eight minutes into the second-half.

After an outstandingly slick team goal that mimicked one of prime Manchester City 's build ups, Daniels reaped further misery with a knockout celebration.

Daniels whipped out one of Wayne Rooney 's most iconic celebrations after a cool one-touch finish past the keeper from six yards.

The young striker did Rooney's legendary shadow boxing cele, punching the air twice before falling backwards to the turf.

The Man Utd legend did it when he scored against Tottenham in 2015 at Old Trafford.

Rooney 's viral celebration was in reference to a video of him getting knocked out by former team-mate Phil Bardsley .

Daniels was swarmed by his team-mates after scoring what proved to be the winner.

Kai, 15, fired into the side netting as United looked for an immediate response.

Camron Mpofu missed a golden opportunity to equalise and Gazimagamed Ibragimov fired over in injury-time from a corner.

But it was the Saints who lifted the prestigious youth cup, with Michael Carrick and wife Lisa supporting their son too.

Kai himself went viral after mimicking Viktor Gyokeres' mask celebration after scoring in the first group game.

The United side had topped their group and beat local team County Down in the semi-finals.
