And viewers were left stunned by the Port Vale home strip, which was getting a run out for the first time.
The kit is minimalist's dream and has no sponsor on the front.
It is a simple white shirt with black trim, plain black shorts and matching socks.
Puma's logo is gold and Port Vale's badge has been changed to a retro-looking font with the abbreviation "PVFC".
Fans love the new kit, with one saying: "Port Vale’s white kit with no sponsor is absolutely delightful. What a shirt."
Another added: "Port Vale with the best kit English football has seen since at least the 80s."
Some even called for a prize, commenting: "They deserve a points award for that kit… class."
Port Vale's unique-looking shirt has been made to mark the club's 150th anniversary.
The kit has been inspired by their jersey in the 1953-54 season when they won the Third Division North and got to the semi-final of the FA Cup .
When they released the new strip, Port Vale said in a statement: "The Puma kit carries a distinct retro feel, with a clean, off-white primary colour, a black collar and sleeve accents forming the base, and a specially selected classic crest completing the design.
"The ‘PVFC’ crest will feature for the duration of the 2025/26 campaign, both on the kit and across the club’s digital media channels, before we revert back to our current badge."
The shirt is available on the club's website for £50.
