Chelsea will be looking to pick up from where they left off after the international break. The Blues are just one of three clubs to remain unbeaten in the Premier League this season, and yet they've hardly broken a sweat .

Enzo Maresca's side were held to a goalless draw by Crystal Palace on the opening weekend of the new campaign before storming past West Ham. Then, in their their third successive London derby , Chelsea cruised past Fulham.

The Blues have the Champions League and the Carabao Cup to worry about now, with trips to Munich and Lincoln on the horizon . Maresca will be hoping his player avoid any further injury setbacks during this month's international break.

Jackson's advisor snaps back at Bayern chief

Nicolas Jackson's advisor, Diomansy Kamara, has posted a cryptic statement on social media after the honorary president of Bayern Munich, Uli Hoeness, ruled out the striker's permanent transfer next summer.

"It's not a €16.5m loan fee, because the player and his agent are contributing €3m, so that leaves €13.5m," said Hoeness on German television channel SPORT1. "There will definitely not be a permanent contract. That only happens if he plays 40 games from the start. He will never do that."

The 73-year-old's comment clearly didn't go down too well with Kamara. On Instagram, a few hours later, Jackson's advisor wrote: "Many speak, but few tell the truth. That's not the topic today. Our only priority is Senegal's decisive match for World Cup qualification.

"This is a crucial moment for the entire nation. Our journey, our ethics, and our way of working are well known: first as footballers and now as advisors to African players. It's time for a united front. The rest will be dealt with later, at the appropriate time. End of story."

"Jackson was given two unrivalled years to prove he could lead the frontline for years to come, and he failed. Don't get me wrong, Jackson did well. He showed great promise. But he was unreliable at times. Liam Delap and Joao Pedro climbed above him in the pecking order at the Club World Cup."

Man United made late approach for Lavia

According to Graeme Bailey , Manchester United contacted Chelsea late into the summer transfer window to enquire about Romeo Lavia's availability. The journalist said: "Manchester United did plenty of work on potential midfield options towards the end of the window, as we know.

"Speaking to sources, away from the likes of [Carlos] Baleba, [Morten] Hjulmand and [Conor] Gallagher, another they did ask about was Lavia. Lavia is a very interesting option and not one Chelsea thought about letting go, I'm told, but let’s see what happens with him. Andrey Santos has come in now, too. Things could be different in January."

"That said, I can't see Chelsea selling the Belgian unless they get a great offer. The club have stuck by him through thick and thin. Lavia clearly has great quality. He just needs to stay fit."

Chelsea willing to break the bank on Aston Villa star

According to CaughtOffside , Chelsea are willing to spend €100m (£86.7m) on Morgan Rogers. The 23-year-old attacking midfielder was heavily linked with a move away from Aston Villa in the summer, but a switch failed to materialise.
