🌍 New name takes top spot in updated FIFA world rankings
World champions Argentina have been dethroned of first place in the updated FIFA men's world rankings following this month's internationals.

Euro 2024 winners Spain have assumed top spot for the first time in 11 years following a 3-0 win over Bulgaria and a 6-0 victory in Türkiye.
Argentina are down to third, with France moving up to third, while Portugal replace Brazil in the top five, with the Seleçao dropping one place to sixth.

Italy are back in the top 10 after scoring five goals in both of Gennaro Gattuso's first two games in charge but Germany drop three spots to 12th due to their shock loss against Slovakia.
Canada have risen to 26th which is their highest ever placing and Kosovo are also up to 91st, a new high for them after an impressive win over Sweden.
Slovakia are the biggest risers as a result of their win over Germany which sees them move 10 places to 42nd.
