Manchester United Are Eyeing A Loan Move For This Borussia Dortmund Ace: Decent Fit For Amorim?

In a recent report , The Express claimed that Manchester United are eyeing a loan move for Borussia Dortmund ace Jobe Bellingham this January. It is understood that the Red Devils are showing interest in the English talent as they look to strengthen their squad next year.

Bellingham has enjoyed a decent run of form at the German club as he has been responsible for putting in a few eye-catching displays for them at the centre of the park. The 20-year-old has secured a couple of goals in 12 matches for Borussia Dortmund this season in all competitions.

The English talent has anchored the midfield well and deserves credit for making five tackles, two blocks, five interceptions and six clearances in the Bundesliga . He has even been tidy with his ball distribution after completing 87.3% of his attempted passes in the German first division (stats via fbref.com ).

His current contract at the German club will run out in the summer of 2030. Hence, Man United would have to make a convincing offer if they are to stand a chance of recruiting him next year.

Bellingham is a decent dribbler with the ball at his feet and can make some driving runs with it from midfield. He has got the vision to engineer a few inviting chances for his teammates in the final third and can shoot the ball with power from long range.

The English sensation can chip in by scoring and creating the odd goal in the final third. However, there are some concerns over whether he can cope with the physical side and high intensity of the Premier League if the Red Devils manage to bring him on board next year.

Bellingham would add more quality and depth to Man United boss Ruben Amorim’s midfield. He has what it takes to compete for a regular starting place at the Mancunian club and could prove to be a good fit for them in the short term.

At 20, the future looks quite bright for Bellingham as long as he continues to improve with each season. Therefore, Amorim should focus on going all out to bring him to Old Trafford on a loan deal this January.
