Man Utd's Sesko Pursuit Could Spark Hojlund Exit to Milan

Milan may be able to take advantage of Manchester United’s pursuit of Leipzig forward Benjamin Sesko , as reports from Italy claim the Slovenian’s arrival may open the door more widely for Rasmus Hojlund’s departure.

According to what has been reported by MilanNews24 , lots of senior figures at the Rossoneri are impressed by the Danish forward and the 22-year-old fits the profile of player Milan are attempting to build into their project.

Hojlund has been rumoured with a move away from the Premier League already this summer, with Napoli and Inter linked as potential suitors . However, if Sesko arrives, the player may look to ask for a move away in order to secure more game time.

Last season, Hojlund endured a disappointing campaign, scoring just four goals in 32 Premier League appearances for Manchester United . The Red Devils slumped to a 15th-placed finish and the whole squad struggled to find any kind of momentum.

The Danish forward was a victim of this overall disappointment and a change of pace could be what he needs to reinvigorate his career. Hojlund spent one season in Serie A with Atalanta in 2022-23 before he completed an €80 million move to the Premier League giants.
