Noussair Mazraoui has returned to training ahead of Manchester United’s Premier League clash with Liverpool which will follow the international break.
The former Bayern Munich star has struggled for fitness this term, picking up an injury during United’s opening pre-season match against Leeds United.
The 27-year-old missed the opening games of the Premier League season against Arsenal and Fulham, coming off the bench against Burnley before starting games on the right against Manchester City and Chelsea.
He has missed United’s last two games with what is reported to be a thigh issue.
Mazraoui was not listed in the Morrocco squad for upcoming games against Bahrain and Congo but has been pictured training with the squad ahead of their opening game in Rabat.
The right-back is seen watching on alongside former United midfielder Sofyan Amrabat and Fenerbahce striker Youssef En-Nesyri.
Mazraoui has previously been ruled out until after the October international break and sight of the versatile defender back among his national team teammates will strengthen hopes he will be available for the trip to Merseyside on 19 October.

United had a clean bill of health heading into the international break with Lisandro Martinez their only absentee.
The Argentina international continues to recover from a ACL injury he picked up in February with hope he will still return in time to have some role to play before the end of the year.
Victory over Sunderland on Saturday moved United into 10 th place and eased some of the pressure growing on Ruben Amorim.

Liverpool meanwhile suffered their defeat on the bounce away to Chelsea that evening, slipping to second in the table with Arsenal moving top.
Despite the win over the Black Cats, former United captain Gary Neville insisted Amorim is ‘not off the hook’, needing a string of wins to move forward.
‘It was a must-win game and I don’t think it lets him off the hook,’ Neville said on the Gary Neville Podcast.
