Jack Grealish makes ‘massive’ statement following first Everton start

Jack Grealish made an instant impact on full debut for Everton as they beat Brighton in the first Premier League game at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

The winger arrived on loan from Manchester City this summer as one of the Toffees’ marquee signings, and if his first start is anything to by he will enjoy his time on Merseyside.

Grealish was released down the left flank by Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall before flashing in a cross for Iliman Ndiaye, who booted the ball into the net for the opening goal after 22 minutes.

The 29-year-old then set up James Garner, who sealed all three points for Everton with a thumping finish from outside the area in the second half to give David Moyes’ men their first victory of the season.
