The first international break of the season is over, and Arsenal are playing the first game of the Premier League ’s return after the international break.

The Gunners host Nottingham Forest at the Emirates Stadium in Saturday’s early kick-off. The game may have an extra edge to it following the appointment of former Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou as Forest manager this week.

The match will be the Australian’s first in charge of his new club. The appointment comes after the sacking of Nuno Espirito Santo

Arsenal go into the game looking to bounce back from a 1-0 defeat against reigning champions Liverpool in their last outing. Forest, meanwhile, fell to a shock 3-0 home defeat against West Ham United.

The game takes place on Saturday, 13 September 2025, with kick-off at 12.30pm. The match will be played at Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium.
