Former Tottenham Hotspur chief football officer Scott Munn is reportedly set to take on a new role in Italy

Former Tottenham Hotspur chief football officer Scott Munn is closing in on a new role at Serie A side Parma, according to reports in Italy.

The decision would come amid a summer of change at Tottenham with chairman Daniel Levy departing after 24 years at the north London club as well as his long-time advisor and Spurs executive director Donna-Maria Cullen, a long-time advisor, while the Lewis family, who injected £100million into the club on Thursday , took a more prominent ownership role.

Now Gazzetta dello Sport and Parma Today has reported that Munn is finalising a deal to join Parma as the new head of the Krause Group's football division. The decision is said to have been made by Parma president Kyle Krause to strengthen the Serie A club's organisational structure.

When Munn joined Tottenham back in 2023 from the City Group, after a delay following his initial announce, he joined in the newly-created chief football officer role.

At that point Levy said of him: "Scott has a unique and broad experience of running sporting organisations at the highest level and will take responsibility for the leadership and management of our football activities to instil best practice both on and off the pitch."
