Vitor Pereira has been sacked by Wolves after a 3-0 defeat to Fulham left the club eight points from safety in the Premier League .
Wolves have endured a disastrous start to the season and are yet to win in the Premier League after ten games.
Amassing just two points leaves Wolves at the bottom of the English top-flight, eight points behind 17th-placed Burnley .
A 3-0 defeat at Fulham on Saturday was the final straw for the Wolves board, who sacked Pereira on Sunday morning.
Pereira, 57, took over at Wolves in December 2024 and was bizarrely handed a new long-term contract earlier in the season despite the team’s struggles.
Wolves are yet to confirm Pereira’s replacement but former Liverpool and Manchester United managers are in the running for the job, according to bookmakers.
Ex-Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers has been installed as the early favourite to replace Pereira, with former United manager Erik ten Hag not far behind.
