Erling Haaland will miss Norway’s friendly against New Zealand .
Norway have announced he is one of several players set to leave the camp ahead of the game because of “tight match schedules”.
Haaland helped his national side to a 5-0 win over Israel on Saturday, scoring a hat-trick in the victory.
But he is now set for a longer rest ahead of Manchester City’s game against Everton on Saturday.
It is welcome news for Pep Guardiola and City , with Haaland already having played plenty of football this season.
He also struggled with a back problem following the 1-1 draw with Arsenal and will now have a chance to gain extra rest before returning to club action.
