The Manchester City striker started this season in blistering form with three goals in as many Premier League outings and has extended it on the international stage.

Haaland doubled Norway's lead in the opening 11 minutes of their latest World Cup qualifier with Moldova as they aim to sit pretty atop Group I with a 100% record.

Remarkably, the 25-year-old has now scored in each of the last eight games for Ståle Solbakken's side while also plundering 17 in 14 prior appearances.

If that wasn't enough, Haaland now has more goals than starts for his country.
