Enzo Maresca insists there is no way back for Raheem Sterling at Chelsea .
Sterling spent last season on loan at Arsenal but struggled to make an impact during his stint with Mikel Arteta ’s side.
The 30-year-old held talks to join Fulham in the summer transfer window but ended up staying at Stamford Bridge.
Throughout the summer, Sterling has trained away from Chelsea’s first-team squad and although he has been included in the club’s Premier League squad , Maresca is clear over the winger’s future.
‘First of all, they are Chelsea players and have contracts with the club, but at this moment they are still training apart,’ Maresca said.
‘Since the start of the season, I haven’t seen them.

‘I did see Renato Veiga but they train on a different pitch at a different time.’
Axel Disasi and David Datro Fofana are also training away from Chelsea’s first-team squad alongside Sterling.
When asked if there is any way back for the three players at Chelsea, Maresca replied: ‘No.’
Speaking earlier this week, Disasi revealed that he was keen on a return to Monaco this summer having initially left the Ligue 1 side to join Chelsea in a £38.5m deal two years ago.
‘In the period between the approaches from Bournemouth and West Ham, Monaco arrived and that hit me emotionally,’ Disasi told La Media Carre.
‘I had three incredible years at Monaco. When they came in, all the memories came back. Monaco is home.
‘I hoped that Chelsea would find a solution to allow me to leave on loan. I pushed until the last minute to go to Monaco.’
