Dele made just one appearance for the Serie A side, managed by Cesc Fabregas , a 10-minute appearance as he was sent off in a match against AC Milan at the San Siro in March.

That game marked the former Tottenham and Everton star's first competitive match since February 2023, when he featured on loan at Besiktas on loan from the Toffees.

But Dele has now shown fans, and potential clubs, he is working hard to stay fit.

In a post to his Instagram page, his first on his page since August 21, Dele shared a video compilation of him enjoying a holiday and training camp in Bali .

The footage for his 8.1 million followers showed the ex-England midfielder in warm weather training in the gym and the pitch doing a variety of fitness and strength training alongside ball work.

It also showed him standing under a waterfall and enjoying some sight-seeing in the picturesque Southeast Asian country.

Dele's post features the song ‘Can We Freestyle’ by Skrapz and starts with a clip from classic film, Scarface.

Al Pacino 's character, Tony Montana, says in the film: "I want what's coming to me... The world, Chico, and everything in it."

Dele revealed last year that he had a reminder on his phone set for 11 o'clock every day to remind him of the 2026 World Cup.

He said: "You know you can set reminders on your phone, I have a reminder at 11 o'clock every day that says, ' World Cup 2026 '.

"That's my aim for now. I think that people will be like, ‘he hasn't played in a year’ but I don't care, I know my level.

“The only target I have is the World Cup right now."

Dele has 37 England caps, scoring three goals, but has not played for the Three Lions since June 2019.

He was linked with a switch to three Championship clubs; Wrexham , Birmingham and West Brom , as he looks to reignite his career.
