The Owls have been hit with multiple transfer embargoes, and players have gone unpaid.
This could lead to a points deduction from the EFL .
Textor, 60, has confirmed that talks have taken place which would see him purchase the club.
The American businessman is no stranger to English football as he was a shareholder in Crystal Palace until the summer.
He has now revealed that he has held talks with Chansiri, who is said to be "open to ideas".
He told The Added Time Podcas t : "I hate to say anything controversial to the fans, but the owner, at least in my experience with him, has been very open to the ideas.
"I've had a little bit of interaction, some direct.
"I know he's very concerned about the club, I know it may not look like it.
"It's just really complicated. Wednesday is one of the clubs that we're looking at.
"It's not that I wouldn't love to come in tomorrow, but they're in a very difficult situation.
"There's a lot to figure out with the owner
"There is a lot to figure out with the league itself and there's not a lot of time to figure it out.
"It seems like probably half to two-thirds of that squad is under the age of 21 and by the time we can even get in and address things.
"If we were to reach a deal with the club, I hope it's not too late."

Textor would be stepping into a tremulous position with fans staging regular protests against the current ownership .
Problems off the pitch have started to have an effect on it, with the club struggling in the second tier.
After nine games, the Owls are currently 23rd, only above cross-city rivals Sheffield United .
The club did achieve a League Cup upset as they dumped out Premier League side Leeds in the second round.
However, they were then beaten 1-0 by League Two side Grimsby Town in the following round.
The club was also rocked by the shock resignation of first-team coach Andy Parslow .
The set-piece coach worked under former manager Danny Rohl but insisted he ripped up his contract to put his family first.
