Coote, from Newark, Nottinghamshire , is accused of making one indecent video of a child on January 2, 2020.
Category A charges relate to the most severe classification of indecent images or videos depicting penetrative sexual activity.
Coote was sensationally axed last December after his foul-mouthed rant against then-Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp was leaked online.
Last November, footage emerged on social media showing the ex-ref calling Klopp a “German c***” and referring to Liverpool as "s***".
In the shocking clip, he says: "Aside from having a right pop at me when I was refereeing them against Burnley in lockdown...
"... he accused me of lying and then had a right f***ing pop of me.
"I have no interest in speaking to someone who is f***ing arrogant.
"I do my best not to speak to him. James Milner is all right, I get on with him.
"You can see me there with a ‘mask’ on. But, my god, German c***, f*** me."
Coote has not denied the authenticity of the video but said he "does not recall" making it.
The official has history with Klopp , who left the Kop giants in May 2024.
They clashed after Liverpool’s 1-1 draw with Burnley at Anfield in July 2020 during the pandemic-hit season.
The explosive comments cast serious doubt on his impartiality and suitability to referee in English football again.
Coote was fired by referee governing body PGMOL and is banned by UEFA until next June.
A statement said Coote's actions were in "serious breach" of his contract.
It read: "Following the conclusion of a thorough investigation into David Coote’s conduct, his employment with PGMOL has been terminated today with immediate effect.
"David Coote’s actions were found to be in serious breach of the provisions of his employment contract, with his position deemed untenable.
"Supporting David Coote continues to be important to us and we remain committed to his welfare."
In June, Coote was spotted delivering packages for Evri and said he was "just trying to make an honest living".
He was working for the courier firm near his home in Newark, adding: “I want to get on with my life.
"I’m trying to move forwards and regain a sense of responsibility and purpose.
"The job is keeping me busy and occupied, it’s not a new long-term career.”
Coote officiated his first Premier League match in April 2018.
