Chelsea, Tottenham, Fulham, Aston Villa and Man United youngsters make England’s U17 World Cup squad
England have announced their 21-man squad for the U17 World Cup , which will take place in Qatar next month.
The squad include five Manchester City players, three from Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea and one from Arsenal, Aston Villa , Blackburn Rovers, Brighton, Fulham , Leicester City , Lyon, Manchester United , Southampton, and West Ham United.
The Young Lions have been placed in Group E for the 48-team tournament.
They play Venezuela in their opening fixture, before facing Haiti and round their group campaign with a clash against North African side Egypt.
England are aiming to win the competition for the second time. Their first triumph was in 2017, when Man City star Phil Foden won the Golden Ball award and former Liverpool striker Rhian Brewster scooped the Golden Boot.
Neil Ryan’s side have several exciting youngsters, including Landon Emenalo, Jun’ai Byfield, Seth Ridgeon, and Bradley Burrowes—all included in our 2025 best U18 Premier League talents .
United’s Bendito Mantato , who has been likened to Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka, Chelsea pair Reggie Walsh and Chizaram Ezenwata, and Tottenham’s Luca Williams-Barnett are other highly rated youngsters in the squad.
