Chelsea Land Dortmund Star Gittens in €65m Mega Deal

Jamie Gittens is officially a new winger for Chelsea , as confirmed by Borussia Dortmund who released a statement this evening.

After months of prolonged negotiations, the London club finally coughed up €65million to sign the the 20-year-old on a deal until 2032.

Since joining the Ruhrpott club in 2020, Gittens made a total of 107 first team appearances while scoring 17 goals and making 14 assists.

BVB issued the following statement: "Jamie Gittens is on the verge of a move to Premier League side Chelsea .

“All parties involved reached an agreement on Thursday in Fort Lauderdale (USA). The contractual details now need to be finalised”.

Dortmund's sporting director Sebastian Kehl added: “Jamie is an outstanding player who has given us a lot of joy.

"He now wants to take the next step in his career with Chelsea , and we wish him all the very best and much success.”
