The Blues beat the Serie A side 4-1 at Stamford Bridge on Sunday , with Joao Pedro doubling the home side's lead in the first half following an early own goal by Andrei Coubis. A Liam Delap brace ensured a comfortable afternoon for Enzo Maresca's side despite Youssouf Fofana pulling a goal back for the Italians, who had goalkeeper Coubis sent off with 18 minutes played. Centre-back Chalobah was taken off with a possible injury, though, with the Englishman going down after a collision in the second half. Upon his exit from the game, the 26-year-old was spotted limping round to the bench. After the match, however, Chalobah took to social media platform X to insist he was fine. "All good everyone, thanks for the messages," Chalobah wrote. Chalobah also uploaded a number of pictures of himself in action to his Instagram page on Sunday, with one image showing the defender holding the Conference League trophy. "Ready to rumble," Chalobah wrote. This article contains affiliate links, we will receive a commission on any sales we generate from it.
