Burnley Sign Broja in £20m Deal to Boost Survival Bid

Burnley have completed the signing of Armando Broja from Chelsea on a five-year deal.

The Clarets confirmed the arrival of the Albanian international until 2030 for an undisclosed fee widely reported to be worth £20 million.

Broja made a name for himself during an impressive loan spell with Southampton during the 2021/22 season.

Injuries have interrupted the 23-year-old's career since then with the striker spending the second half of the 2023/24 campaign with Fulham and playing for Everton last season.

"I am really excited to be here as a Burnley player," Broja said on his arrival at Turf Moor.

"It’s a really positive time to be joining this club ahead of the start of the new Premier League season. I can’t wait to get going!"

Manager Scott Parker has now made nine signings and he looks to help his Burnley side avoid relegation.
