Bukayo Saka is gunning for glory with both Arsenal and England this season - and believes it can be achieved. The North London side have enjoyed an excellent start to the campaign under Mikel Arteta .
The Gunners are early favourites for the Premier League crown with a four-point advantage at the top of the table. Reigning champions Liverpool are already seven points off the pace, while Manchester City are only one point better off.
And while the Premier League title is on the agenda for Saka and Arsenal, the winger is also targeting silverware for his country. England have already booked their spot at next summer’s World Cup in the USA, with boss Thomas Tuchel having pointed to his ambitions of claiming the trophy.
Saka believes that a club and country double could well be on the cards. Speaking to Sky Sports , he said: “Yeah, that’s my pray. Of course it is doable.
“You can’t really do anything if you don’t believe in it. I believe it is possible. It won’t be easy, definitely won’t be easy, but yeah it is possible.”
Arsenal have enjoyed a positive start to the new season, having lost just one game so far. Saka believes that he and his teammates are now confident that they can maintain that form all season and eventually claim the title.
He added: “This year I feel we’re a very strong group and we’ve got a lot of quality. We’ve suffered already a lot of injuries, but the players that have come in have shown that we can all keep the level at the highest.

“I think that’s where we’ve slipped off in a few seasons, but this season, we’ve got that and it’s making me really believe we can do it.”
While Saka will focus on his Arsenal commitments for the time being, he will of course be keeping one eye on England. The Three Lions have enjoyed a flawless qualifying campaign so far under Thomas Tuchel.
And Saka appears to be a big fan of the German. He said: “I think he is a top coach, tactical understanding and with people as well he is very demanding, he knows how to get the best out of the players I would say.”
Saka and Arsenal will be back in action on Wednesday evening as they take on Premier League rivals Brighton in the Carabao Cup ahead of this weekend’s clash with newly-promoted Burnley . England’s next game puts them against Serbia in their penultimate qualifying game next month.
