Per breaking reports from The Athletic, the 51-year-old Portuguese manager has been relieved of his duties shy of two years in charge of the club.
Despite guiding the former European Champion back to continental competition, the decision comes in the wake of his admission that the relationship with Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis had soured.
It has been hinted that Marinakis has been considering a change ever since the public comments surfaced, while Nuno's reported falling out with Edu offered another layer to the tension bubbling in the East Midlands.
During his time with the club, Espírito Santo was lauded for his impressive work, helping Forest finish seventh in 2024/25, and seeing numerous players develop under his charge.
Forest sit 10th at the time of writing, having picked up four points from their opening three Premier League fixtures.
