There has been such a focus on Arsenal's incoming summer business that player sales have taken a back seat. However, with six signings through the door, there is suddenly a greater emphasis on ensuring that the club bring in funds and open space for any late pushes for more reinforcement.

That said, there is something of a difficulty when it comes to moving on some players in the group. There are several surplus to requirements assets in the group that are unlikely to have a future beyond this summer in any capacity with the club.

If there is a struggle to find suitors immediately for some players then the club might be forced to be more open to offers for some in the group they are less keen to lose. One such player is Jakub Kiwior, who has had a stellar last six months.

Following the injury to Gabriel Magalhaes, Kiwior stepped up and performed excellently in the Brazilian's stead. His showings included two great displays against Real Madrid in a 5-1 aggregate victory.

There have been reports leading up to the start of the window that the club values the defender at around £30million. Andrea Berta has been tasked with overseeing the club's business this summer and will therefore take charge of negotiations from any interested parties.

In the wake of links with Kiwior away from the club, Stade Rennais' Jeremy Jacquet has been linked as a potential replacement. However, the 19-year-old Frenchman would likely be very expensive; any sale of Kiwior would only aid in helping find a replacement.

This, therefore, counteracts the idea that Kiwior's sale would help in signing the third offensive player. The situation remains unpredictable and Berta now has to decide whether to entertain any of the potential interest that could be formalised.
